SOLD Single speed commuter bike

Single speed custom bike.

This is a real parts bin special of a custom bike. Built from an unloved Viking road bike. All the heavy old kit has been binned and it’s made up into a cool single speed commuter.

The photos really do it justice! The frame is sound and in good condition but the paint is scrappy and untidy, just how I like to leave it for a proper leave anywhere style of bike.

Everything else is spot on, I’ve converted it to simple single speed using a new chain, conversion kit and tensioner. The cranks are some shimano ones with new pedals fitted. The straight bars are fitted with some blue grips to match the look of the bike and give it the proper fixie/commuter look.

The wheels and tyres are in good order, the tyres nearly new and obviously determined the colour choice/style of the bike.

This is a proper commuter, all works just as it should but is in a condition that means you won’t be precious about throwing a lock round it against a lamppost! Removing the heavy old kit has transformed how it rides and it gets about really well.
