The bike had been restored previously(approx 15 years ago), it has just been recommissioned while retaining the character of the bike. The paint has marks and wear related to the age and use of the bike but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance of the bike and its authenticity. The frame is solid and straight.

The drivetrain is Shimano Selecta chainset with Huret downtube shifting and derailleurs, so that ages the bike to be between 1978-1980(ish), pedals have new toe clips and tan cristophe straps, brakes are CLB1 centre pull. All new cabling and housings fitted, shifting is just right.

Wheels are lovely period Mavics in 27", fitted with brand new 27x1 1/4" tyres. Hubs just serviced and running super smooth.

New Deda tan bar tape to match the charge saddle, wine cork end caps finish the look off perfectly.

The bike rides perfectly, looks great and is ready to ride, really quite a nice bike to get out on. It wouldn't look out of place on a vintage ride, the L'Eroica or just for cruising round town.
